Let us introduce you to... our new saddle line up!

We are very excited to announce the launch of our highly anticipated new saddle line! Designed with the needs of professional and beginner cyclists in mind, the saddles offer unparalleled comfort, performance, and versatility for riders of all levels. The saddles are officially launched and showcased on Eurobike 2023 in Frankfurt.

The new saddle line does not consist of just one or two saddles. We go all in and are adding a collection of saddles to each product family – Genus, Omnia, Explorator and Tenaci. That way, you can choose the saddle that fits your riding style, whether you are a performance seeker, GranFondo rider, weekend warrior or gravel enthusiast.

Innovative features for demanding cyclists

Our goal is to design innovative cycling products. Founder Piet van der Velde continues to search for the best ways to combine performance, comfort and durability. For the saddles, we have added the innovative Comfort Trigger and Dynamic Torsion Bar.

The Comfort Trigger is an innovative system developed by us that allows you to adjust the flexibility of the saddle while you are riding. Whether encountering different road surfaces, tackling uphill climbs, or embarking on long endurance rides, with the Comfort Trigger, you can optimize your riding experience on the go. With three distinct adjustment positions, offering a 10nm difference, you can easily adapt the saddle to your preferences and regain control over your comfort and performance.

The Dynamic Torsion Bar, another key feature of Ere Research saddles, provides enhanced strength and stability to the overall saddle structure. This design incorporates an additional bar connection between the left and right sides of the saddle understructure, specifically the saddle rail. Its purpose is to support the added stress and load that occur when riders use the Comfort Trigger system. By integrating the Dynamic Torsion Bar, we ensure that the saddle can withstand the demands of the Comfort Trigger's adjustments, offering riders a reliable and durable riding experience.

Choose the saddle that suits you

To accommodate every rider, we offer different variants in each family. From the entry level up, each model is featured with better specs: the added Comfort Trigger, better materials for the base and rails or the addition of the Dynamic Torsion Bar. If you want to go all in, the CC-models of the Genus, Omnia and Tenaci saddles are the ones for you.

Besides the different choices in material and features, the saddles are unisex. The ongoing study Ere Research has initiated with the University of Stanford medicine and experiences throughout the last twenty years, has shown that no person is the same in terms of saddle needs, and how they are built in terms of sex, posture, flexibility and soft tissue shape. It is about the right shape and fit. That’s why most saddles in the new line are available in different sizes.
