WHERE SHOULD EVERYBODY RIDE THEIR BIKE IF WE ASK YOU?
I love big climbs. The steeper the better. Therefore the French Alps are my favourite. Let's not forget the Dutch Mountains in the South of the Netherlands. Limburg has got really nice climbs and other hidden gems. I am also fond of the Salandse Heuvelrug as this is a beautiful area near my home town Ommen.
YOU CAN'T GO OUT FOR A BIKE RIDE WITHOUT?
My Garmin! I love data, I can't go out without this device. It's nice to review my achievements after every training.
Besides that, Garmin gives me the opportunity to discover new routes and explore new terrain.
DO YOU PREFER RIDING IN GROUPS OR SOLO?
That's a difficult question. I love both riding alone and in groups. Alone, music in my ears and pushing the limit. I've met a lot of like-minded people on the bike. Riding together means a lot of fun most of the time.
So let's say I can't choose.
WHAT'S YOUR BEST KEPT SECRET CYCLING LIFE HACK EVERY CYCLIST SHOULD KNOW? Pancakes.. hahaha I am on top of the game thanks to eating pancakes in the morning. Pancakes with brown sugar and syrup.
